Sorry for the delay in recent posts- I’ve just been too busy winning. I’ve also just moved apartments which causes for about three weeks of absolute hell on every level imaginable (Muchas gracias to the Latinos who stand in front of Home Depot looking for work. Maybe it’s time to reform our immigration policies?)

Currently I’m working on a bunch of different and exciting things, one of which is shown below. I partnered up with some local producers to create “Gian-Carlo Gian-Carlo” a tennis teacher/lover/champion. I’ll make sure to post the videos when they are back from editing. I was also asked to compete with another comedian in “Make A Hot Girl Laugh” for www.Comedy.com. That video will air in a month or two and I’ll make sure to post it.

Last week I spoke at my Alma Mater, University of Illinois, as part of Grad Week. It was so much fun to be back in Champaign. I may have even gotten drunk at Kams. Go Illini!

More photos below, enjoy:

Last weekend I found myself in Appleton, Wisconsin at the wonderful Skyline Comedy Cafe. Here is a three minute video with some of the nonsense that went on after the show. Keep in mind that Appleton has a very prominent paper industry. Oh, they also have hot chicks that like to drink (the best kind). Enjoy:

Super thanks to Cliff and all the hilarious staff in Appleton. What a great room and it’s nice to be treated so well. My liver is recovering.

—– HERE IS LAST WEEKS POST—–

Why hello there,

Thanks to all of you who made the effort to get out to the Improv last night. We had a great show and a great time. I’ve already received a lot of emails and positive feedback from the night. Earlier in the day, I was lucky enough to go on both Playboy Radio (Sirius Channel 198) and National Lampoon’s Kevin Couch Show (XM Channel 154). No offense to Kevin Couch, but I liked the Playboy spot a little better. This was solely due to the fact that during most of the interview, hostess Andrea had her breasts out. That’s tough to compete with. Take a look below:

Playboy.jpg

Hosts Andrea and Kevin. Both were great fun and very funny. Only one took their tits out.

If I had known better, I would have moved her coffee straw. Kevin has the greatest job in the world.

The Kevin Couch Show is always a blast. Thanks for the promo and for not showing me your breasts.

Pay attention! The TV schedule is out for “CCHA All Access”. You’ll find that info at: CCHA All Access TV Schedule. All shows will air on FSN Detroit Friday nights and Saturday mornings, set your TiVo!

Below are some shots from our recent OSU shoot in Columbus. Being from Ann Arbor, I am not proud to say that I have a Buckeye jersey on, but it comes with the territory of being an ubercelebrity and doing what the company that pays you says. I hate admitting this but the city of Columbus was kind and helpful to us- although I did get some crap for having a Michigan license. Once again proving that OSU fans HATE UM fans and UM fans kind of dislike OSU fans. Enjoy:

Christmas in Germany (not America) http://www.michaelkosta.com/blog/2008/01/09/christmas-in-germany-not-america/ http://www.michaelkosta.com/blog/2008/01/09/christmas-in-germany-not-america/#comments Wed, 09 Jan 2008 07:02:28 +0000 mbkos http://www.michaelkosta.com/blog/2008/01/09/christmas-in-germany-not-america/ Americans,

I had the opportunity to spend my christmas holiday in Germany. Like many Americans I thought Germany was just another state in America but as it turns out, it’s an entirely different country and not part of America (yet). To my complete and utter surprise, it turns out that Germany, in copying America, celebrates christmas just like we do. Now of course, these “non Americans” don’t know what christmas is all about so, like any good American, I explained to them the meaning and that Jesus was American and God was born in Texas. Unlike Americans, it seems that christmas in Germany is not about buying the most expensive gifts but spending quality time with family and friends, ha! No wonder we are the world leaders.

Germany was a complete blast and truly an amazing experience. To thank my German friends for being so kind to me, I am writing the picture captions in German- which is a non American language.
