Morty's Comedy Joint, Indy
There is something very uplifting about performing in the town of Indianapolis. Maybe it's the amount of alcohol that most audience members consume (as if they are trying to "escape"), or the loose morals of chicks from Greenwood or maybe it's just the confidence that comes from calling yourself the home to the Super bowl Champions. Whatever the case may be, I had a great five nights of shows in a town that holds the NFL's top prize, and that's something I really respect because I'm a Lions fan.
Morty's Comedy Joint in Indianapolis has yet to be open for one full year but it's already booming with great crowds and shows. It's obvious that owner Eric Shorts is committed to running a high level club that treats the comics, get this, like real people. If you're in the Indy area and haven't stopped in yet, make sure that you do.
Here are some shots from the week (click "Photos" for all of them):

Friday morning I made my debut on Bob and Tom, a radio show that has over seven million daily listeners. In the booth that day were comedians Greg Giraldo, and Ruben Paul. Also pictured are Morty's owner Eric Shorts, Bob and Tom, Kristi (with daughter) and the Sports guy Chick (who mentioned that it must be great to be a tennis instructor because I can get "old poon") Many thanks to Bob and Tom!

Comedian Ruben Paul, a very funny dude, check him out HERE. Comedians Ruben Paul, Mel Fine, and Eric Shorts making me look tall.

Six months ago, at one of my shows, this guy scored this hot chick by using the line "How many cats do you have?" They are now engaged. Once again proving that my jokes have magical powers (and they get you laid).

Some old Illini tennis fans stopped by Saturday night... only to watch me temporary lose the crowd by calling a female heckler "annoying and overweight" Eventually, she laughed. I'm just glad she didn't eat me. Shown here: The Mix 94.5's Mike Cation, hottie Nadja, hottie Michele and square Alex.
