Todd Martin Charity Pro Am
This past weekend I had the opportunity to host the charity tennis event for the Todd Martin Development Fund, in East Lansing, Michigan. For those of you who follow tennis, you won't need me to explain who Todd Martin is, for those of you who don't here are a couple of his career accomplishments: career high ATP ranking of #4, US Open and Australian Open finalist, over $8 million dollars in prize money. His career high ranking, if multiplied by 200, equals my career high ranking. Two other celebrity tennis players joined us this year, Mal Washington and Aaron Krickstein.
Besides playing tennis in the morning pro-am, I also acted as the "celebrity" chair umpire, and host of the evening dinner and reception. Basically I roasted Todd, Mal and Aaron which was a lot of fun for me but as one guest asked me so eloquently "Who are you to think that you can roast them?" I am Mike Kosta, Champion.
I have a very different week ahead of me this week... tomorrow I head up to Fairbanks, Alaska to shoot our first two episodes of CCHA All-Access. We are expecting to deal with six hours of daily sun light, as well as freezing temperatures. I'm looking forward to the trip because I've always wanted to have sex with an Eskimo. I'll make sure to take lots of pictures.

Aaron Krickstein and Todd Martin at the evening event. Aaron, like me, has never beaten Jimmy Connors.

Mal Washington is a Wimbledon finalist and was named "top 50 sexiest people" by People Magazine. As we can see here, I fit right into that group.

Someone doesn't fit in here.

As celebrity chair umpire, I felt it was important to stay properly hydrated.
