Me:  Mom, you should come see my show this weekend, I’m working with Tony Rock and he’s hilarious.

Mom: Wow, I’ve seen him on TV.  He just married Pamela Anderson.

Me: No Mom, that’s Kid Rock.

Mom:  The pro wrestler?

Me: No Mom, That’s THE ROCK.

Whomever my mother thought she was seeing… it was still a great show.  Tony was very funny, very nice and very approachable.  I also had the privilege of working with Tommy Johnagin from Southern Illinois.  Look for Tommy on Comedy Central August 11^th for his “Live at Gotham” performance.  Tony can be found on UPN on Monday nights in "All of us."  I can be found on my couch watching both of their shows.  Damn!

Thursday's show was for 200 16 year olds.  Kind of tough doing jokes about alcohol when the audience is five years away from drinking. Thanks to all my friends who came out and supported their favorite local comedian this weekend, me!  Thanks to Roger for booking me.  We had great shows and I can't wait to be back.
