Before I begin, just take a moment and appreciate the crafty word play of this blog title. I incorporate both a holiday theme as well as a common English idiomatic expression. True genius. Now, move on. Just like I kept the ladies at Ann Arbor Huron High School waiting by the phone many years ago, I feel as if the true Michael Kosta Comedy Fans have been waiting by their computers for this latest entry. And similarly to those ladies, once I do call and once I do post a new entry, all parties will be pleasantly disappointed. What I am trying to say is, I am sorry this is late. Fortunately for me, none of the high school ladies were ever "late" if you know what I mean (high fives!). Last weekend I was in the great city and state of Ft. Wayne, Indiana at the Snickerz Comedy Bar. As I mentioned many times on stage, you know you are successful when the directions to the club from the hotel are, "Take a right at the Cracker Barrel and a left at Golden Corral". Next stop Hollywood! Seriously, many thanks to John, Elaine, Chrissy and the entire staff for making it a great three days. Here are some shots from the weekend. I had the pleasure of going to the Main Street Coney Island with Mike and Ryan Lee. They paid, so I was happy.

Taylor may look familiar (see the Angola, IN post). She and her friend came all the way to Ft. Wayne just to hear the same jokes.

One of these men cries at Nike commercials, the other you may recognize from the Ultimate Fighting Championships. I think we all know who is who.

Other news:

• Michael is now on vacation in New Orleans. Which means he probably won't remember writing this.
• I just got booked at the Columbus Funny Bone, Jan. 9th. Show time is 7:30pm, for those of you in that area, please check it out.
• I did receive everything on my Christmas list. A popcorn maker, a self heating shovel, and all different types of personal mirrors
